'Images' closed...
Pencils blunt...
Misplaced erazor...
Sucks..

When I curse the time,
it can't be sublime
A cut by the razor
sucks..

Tried chilling, but no fun
Touches the forehead a gun
Yeah, the professor
sucks..

Deadlines approach, kick
God, like you, the week
before the major
sucks..

I wonder what the main theme of the poem was. From all that I understand, it was more to allege God of something that is not al all related to examinations. Am I right?

Loved the verse on time. 'A cut by the razor...' - Good line there.

And btw, study. All the best.

Na! i don't have that much problems with the so-called-God! But now that he interferes in the actual theme of my poem: Yeah, He sucks!! :D

No deep meanings in the poem... it's just a reflection on the week which's bout to end! A closed stationary shop (Images) when I went to buy something necessary for an assignment, a pile of deadlines for submissions, and a cut by the razor while shaving hastily before a presentation!

Glad that you always find something in my posts to appreciate!

Yeah, studying. thanx 4 the wishes, pal!

Somehow, that verse on time reflects a different meaning altogether. Something like time being analogous to a razor that cuts into the happy/glorious moments of ones life and not being sublime...maybe you didnt write it with such a thought in your mind.

yeah.. got the coincidental depth (!) after reading ur first comment,.. but surely i didn't write with any thought whatsoever!

Reality is so poetic!

actually i agree. the exam time itself is so much better than the preceding week. and all i have here is preceding weeks full of project deadlines and reports, esp this weekend. while the handful of exams are still 2 weeks or more away....

reality is poetic just as often as poetry is real. Imagination builds itself over reality. Reality comes into existence from some imagination

ya, infact i love exams.. (i did write bout minors previously).. there's so much freedom in those few days! good luck for ur projects and exams!

yeah, agreed. Phoenix states the obvious things in a manner that makes them look like some deep philosophy [:P].. but then, philosophy is the study of things deemed too obvious!

i wonder how god poses problems to good writers like you..
probably writers tend to emphasize on illogical philosophies.. and god.. is as logical as divine truth!

You must be right, provided there's something like divine truth!

there certainly is! we all call them mere facts, we see them 24/7.. it's just a matter of realizing.. that it exists!
