Kabhii nazar ka dhokha thii, ab aankh ka paani hai.

Thats a wonderful couplet!

What shocks me, however, is the fact that a similar set of words came to us the same day, that too independently. Just a few minutes ago, I typed out a poem, published it, and then thought of checking your page, just the way I generally do. And I was indeed surprised.

And there's more to it: A couplet from my poem kind of completes your poem. Weird!

Chaar pal apni fitrat ke, jeekar meri palkon par
Beh jaanaa tu zindagii, farz teraa rawaani hai

But I think your couplet doesn't complete mine; you've written with quite different thoughts and it would've been clear if I had written a few more couplets. :)
But the couplet you mentioned here is a gem, best couplet of this particular effort of yours.
