"God helps those who help themselves."

=> 1) Don't expect much from him when you find yourself helpless.
2) When you can do things yourself, and very easily; he'll jump in, do things for you, and force you feel grateful.

=> Sachin IS God.

;)

.................................
Saurav always knew, but forgot at the most crucial time, that everybody's role in a team is different, and unique.
.................................
Sehwag is a big idiot, though a little lesser than he proclaims he is.
.................................
Greg will be too conscious not to be much gregarious when back in India. A Woolmer won't happen, but chappals await him in good numbers.
.................................
Rahul?
.................................
The biggest trio of the cricket history couldn't lift the world cup ever.

You sound so angry I feel like disagreeing with you. But what is the trio?

Why drag God in everything bad you see...
if taken it in a more optimistic way.. he's there to encourage those who work, and not work for those who only weep!

i too feel angry at the team though!!

You have every right to.

Sachin, Saurav, Dravid.

[PR,DC]
This time it wasn't really God bashing! It was just a sarky statement against those who say Sachin's God. And see I've used a capital G for God (in the middle of the sentence) perhaps for the first time on this blog!

I haven't any (or say, much) issues with God. I must admit that using Him in poetry, and with such detestation, gives a kind of flavour to my poems which I personally like. Hope he won't mind. :)

i am not angry....they r just not good enough...cool hai....but how dare u put a question mark in front of Rahul.
Got to spare Rahul man...got to.
Or I'd do a Woolmer to you ;)

The question mark in front of Rahul was not a question mark on Rahul. Take it as an admission of the fact that I couldn't find anything againt him!(Mood of the post didn't allow me to praise anybody. And while talking of Indian team, I couldn't skip his name) /* Sounds logical? Marta kya na karta :D*/

Jesus! You r high on murderous instincts, 'The woman' :P

Ok. Yes, that's an otherwise good combination. And the Indian team was otherwise good this time. Only, they made silly mistakes against Bangladesh otherwise they had a pretty good chance.

Too many 'otherwise's there, otherwise...
:D

I didn't follow this match. So ur comment comes as the news! Over time I haven't been a crazy cricket follower, wudn't have watched In-SL either, if it weren't a do-or-die.

[Chandni]
I only felt bad. And for a few hrs only.

I liked the way you interpreted the quote. I dont think India's performance in the WC is worthy of a post. Cricket and politics are but one word. Pata nahi Mr. Pawar ne kitne paise banaye hain.

The main purpose was only to post the interpretation of that quote. Baki sab to yun hi likh diya.
