Happy new year fellas!

So here I am... back TO (and also FROM) life! I could never figure out whether I like home the more or the campus. Perhaps, at any point in time, it's the one where I am not!

Everyone seems to be wishing everyone else a happy new year. And everyone knows 2nd of january would be no different than any day of december the last.
The contrast between any two consecutive days is best seen between Holi and the day after. Everything dries up. Moments, by default, are fractions of a second only.

Why doesn't everything remain just the same for a week at least? Errr.. not for me.. I won't like breaking the lock on my room on 7 consecutive nights (like what I had to do yesterday) when everybody else would be planning for the celebrations of The Night! As Shalabh put it, "I don't understand why you people return on 31st!!"

But yeah, (now I think) it was fun!- watching five of my most respected seniors trying their hands on the lock, including the one I least expected to (Need I name?)!!

I did resolve not to write on personal life. This is the first resolution I break! And I loved breaking it! Cheers! (Hope 'Cheers' doesn't even remotely indicate I drink, because I don't. Any instance of me telling anyone that I drink has to be a lie.)

Again, wishing you a very happy new year! Cheers!

Yeah, vacations were fun.
And the lock on my empty room was caretaker's. Hostel's weird fundas! Leave that!

Well, I can write a complete post on that!
Look at our notice board:"Do not keep cash, and valuables such as laptops(!!) and mobile phones(!!!!!!) at your room" So when the total responsibility of the loss lies with you, you've to lock and unlock your room dozen times an hour. Chances of loosing the keys are high. Sometime back a guy lost it into the (unplugged) bathroom plughole!

We've to vacate our rooms at the end of the sem, and coming back we find it locked by the caretaker. If we come back in the day, we can get it unlocked, but after 5 - no way! So you gotta find an hammer out! (yesterday's case). And might face a fine too.
Other reasons like memory and carelessness are not related solely to iitians!

Thanx a lot! Happy new year to u too!

Things change with changing times... and still there is some significance of a change in years though time is not quantized... all of us know this, yet new year carries a special place in popular culture. Best wishes from me.
The earlier title and description read better, and though it would'nt be apt to comment on the character of this change; for it is something totally governed by YOUR means and ways, the change nevertheless disappointed me.

Thanx! I myself was feeling the earlier was better. You helped me make a decision.

And I'd love any comment on the character of the change u were talking of. Now that you comment 'as' anonymous, you can be more frank :P
